A single U rack space in QuoteColo's data centers is suitable for individuals and small businesses to place their company-owned email, web, and application servers offsite in a safe and redundant environment. The price for a single U rack space starts at $50, depending on the data center location. Typically, per U host packages come with 2Amps 110v per U and 100Mbps bandwidth.
Physical protection of racks. In the data center you can rent both: open and individually locked racks. You can get to the server hardware only if the lessee (owner of the hardware) issues a temporary code for short-term access.
A full rack for placing and running servers in a data center has fixed dimensions. The most commonly used variant is the 19-inch-wide full rack. The length (height) varies and is usually 42 to 47 rack units at 1.75 inches per unit. Depending on the exact type of hardware, one server or related equipment occupies one to several units.
